The selected brightness level is memorized even after turning off the light.<br><br>The EDC31 can be charged through its built-in USB-C port. Once fully charged, the EDC31 can achieve a maximum runtime of 57 hours on its lowest mode and can be fully charged in under 2 hours. A power indicator located on the top of the tailcap will notify you of the battery level and when it's done charging. The EDC31 also features two lockout modes with an easy sliding switch to prevent accidental activation and quick access: Half and Full. In Half Lockout Mode, you can still access the Search and Lumin Shield, while the Full Lockout will fully prevent any accidental activation. At a compact size of 4.46 inches and a weight of only 3.53 ounces with the clip attached, the EDC31 easily fits into any pocket.
